Fasting and Cancer

Valter and Rhonda discuss how fasting can sensitize cancer cells to death and lower markers of damage in human blood cells. Fasting also causes cancer cells to use fatty acids, which can only be used by the mitochondria to generate energy, making them more susceptible to death. They also discuss how fasting may have evolved as a protective mechanism against precancerous cells.
