The Ovulatory Cycle
Andrew explains the first half of the ovulatory cycle, known as the follicular phase, where follicle-stimulating hormone triggers the maturation of a subset of follicles that contain immature eggs. As the follicles mature, one containing an egg gets selected while the others degenerate and die.
