Terpenes and Pain

Myrcene, beta caryophyllene, and limonene are the most prevalent terpenes in cannabis, with ongoing research exploring their effects on pain relief when combined with THC. Despite anecdotal evidence from patients about the efficacy of different strains, the influence of expectancy bias complicates the interpretation of results. Without robust clinical trials, it's challenging to draw definitive conclusions about the subjective experiences of pain, sleep, and anxiety in relation to cannabis use.
