THC and PTSD

There is emerging evidence suggesting THC may possess anti-anxiety properties, particularly in relation to PTSD, where sleep disturbances and nightmares are prevalent. Anecdotal reports from veterans indicate that cannabis use, especially before bedtime, significantly reduces nightmares and improves overall sleep quality. A small open-label study by the Canadian military supports these findings, highlighting the potential benefits of synthetic THC in alleviating symptoms associated with PTSD.
