Lex Fridman asked Ray Dalio about his thoughts on Vladimir Putin and Russia. Ray Dalio explained that Putin came to power at the end of the Soviet Union, when there was anarchy, war, and no money. He was appointed by Yeltsin, and the goal was to bring stability and democracy to Russia.
