Growing up in a lower middle-class family, Nick reflects on the influence of his immigrant parents and their relentless pursuit of a better life. Despite their struggles with depression, they instilled in him a belief in progress and hard work. As the youngest child, he embraced a contrarian spirit, questioning authority while also finding his place within a supportive family dynamic.
