Digitizing Beverages

David Friedberg discusses how his company has used molecular analysis to scan and digitize the world's beverages, reducing them down to a few dozen compounds that can be used to recreate any beverage. This idea was inspired by a research paper from a flavor science lab in Germany that showed how a few compounds can replicate the taste of any wine.
