Closing the Skills Gap
Ric shares his experience with a program that teaches coding to high school graduates who didn't go to college. By starting with the job and then training into it, they are able to fill hundreds of thousands of unfilled positions while also solving the diversity challenge. The program partners with the county, city, and high school systems to ride on the rails of the system. The key is to start with the job and not education.In this clip
