Mutations and Fatherhood
Every year, men accumulate approximately two mutations in their sperm DNA, leading to a higher mutation rate in older fathers. These mutations can potentially contribute to neuropsychiatric conditions, with some mutations offering advantages that help certain sperm outcompete others.
