Support
How can we help?
Ask Huberman Lab is an interactive way to engage with the podcast. Ask a question in your own words and get answers drawn directly from the Huberman Lab library — each one linked to the exact moments in the episodes. Data is only sourced from our episode transcripts, nowhere else.
Think of it as a companion to the podcast: a way to explore topics across episodes, follow your curiosity, and discover episodes you might want to listen to in full.
We built this in partnership with Snipd, a full-featured podcast app that lets you capture “snips” — AI-summarized highlights of the moments that resonate — as you listen, and revisit or sync them later. Their technology powers the search, playback, and clip features throughout Ask Huberman Lab, and that partnership is what lets us offer it to you for zero-cost.
Below are answers to the questions we hear most often, and if you need anything else, we're here to help.
Getting started
What is Ask Huberman Lab?
Ask Huberman Lab lets you ask questions and get answers drawn directly from the Huberman Lab podcast library. It's powered by our partner Snipd, so you can explore the content conversationally and jump straight to the moments that matter.
Do I need an account to use it?
You can start asking right away. After a few questions, we'll ask you to create a free account so you can keep going — this removes the early limits, saves your conversation history, and keeps your access at Ask Huberman Lab free for as long as your account is active. Going further into Snipd Premium is entirely optional (more on that below).
Is it free?
Yes. Ask Huberman Lab is free to use, and as long as you have an active account you'll keep free access at Ask Huberman Lab.
Signing up for Snipd is entirely your choice. If you sign up for Snipd through Ask Huberman Lab and download the Snipd mobile app, you'll get the option for a 1 month free trial of Snipd Premium, which unlocks the full Snipd app experience. Either way, your free Ask Huberman Lab access at Ask Huberman Lab continues.
Just note that features like Queue and Save snip live in the Snipd app, so they aren't part of the free experience on Ask Huberman Lab.
Accounts & sign-in
Is my Ask Huberman Lab account the same as a Snipd account?
Yes. The free account you create on Ask Huberman Lab is a Snipd account. The same login works across Ask Huberman Lab and the Snipd app. If you already have a Snipd account, there's no need to create a new one; just sign in using the same email and login method (Google, email or Apple) you originally signed up with, and everything stays connected.
How do I sign in?
When you reach the sign-in prompt, you can continue with Google or with your email. If you're an existing Snipd user, you can also sign in with any of Snipd's supported methods, including Apple.
Why do I have to sign in after a few questions?
To keep the experience fast and sustainable, we allow a few questions before sign-in. Signing in removes those early limits, gives you generous daily and weekly usage, and saves your conversations so you can return to them anytime.
Where can I find my past conversations?
Once you're signed in, your previous conversations are available in your profile menu.
Email sharing & privacy
What happens to my email address?
When you sign up, your email is shared with Scicomm Media, the company behind Huberman Lab, and Snipd. Both Scicomm Media and Snipd take your privacy seriously. You can unsubscribe from any emails you receive by using the opt-out link in the footer.
Do I have to share my email to use Ask Huberman Lab?
Yes. Sharing your email is required to complete the sign-up and continue past the free question limit. If you prefer not to, you're welcome to keep using the limited free experience without signing in.
Should I enter personal or sensitive information into the chat?
No. Please avoid entering sensitive information such as health details, financial information, passwords, or anything you'd consider private into the chat. Ask Huberman Lab is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute the practice of medicine, nursing or other professional health care services. Please read our full disclaimer.
Queue, Save, Play & more
What do the Queue, Save snip, and Play buttons do?
- Play: plays the episode directly on screen at Ask Huberman Lab, no sign-up needed.
- Queue: lines the episode up in the Snipd app so it's ready when you are.
- Save snip: saves a highlight in the Snipd app so you can come back to it later.
Play is part of the free experience on Ask Huberman Lab. Queue and Save snip live in the Snipd app, so choosing them will invite you to sign up (with the same email-sharing step) to connect your Snipd account — entirely your choice.
Can I listen on other podcast platforms?
Yes. Look for the button that takes you to the official Huberman Lab website, where you'll find links to listen or watch on other platforms.
Can I share clips with friends?
You can share a clip directly from Ask Huberman Lab.
How do I give feedback on an answer?
Use the thumbs up / thumbs down buttons on any answer. Your feedback helps us improve the experience.
Are the answers always accurate?
Ask Huberman Lab uses AI, and AI can make mistakes. We surface source clips so you can check answers against the original podcast content.
